I have some exciting news! I'm thrilled to be collaborating with director Kyle LoConti and the Buffalo State Theater Department on a student performance of SIXTY NINE SEVENTY at the JVL Alumni & Visitor Center. I can't believe my play is going to be performed in my hometown!

SIXTY NINE SEVENTY in Buffalo, New York

Date: Saturday, November 18, 2023 Where: JVL Alumni & Visitor Center Time: Noon - Lunch | 12:45 p.m. - Reading Price: $15 per person (students can register for free)

*Registration for the event includes lunch and a private Q&A with the play writer after the reading.*

SIXTY NINE SEVENTY follows the lives of four Buffalo State students from different socio-economic backgrounds during the 1969-70. Amidst growing civil unrest, they address daily issues of misinformation and public manipulation, women's rights, racial equality and inherit racism, abortion access, political corruption ad federal agencies monitoring activist groups. These characters are forced to examine their perspectives and look past what they're told, to define themselves and what they are willing to do for what they believe in.
