Michael Eichler’s newest play, Lefty and Poncho will be read at the Kensington Community Church on Monday November 6 and Tuesday November 7th at 7:30 p.m.
Lefty and Poncho is the story of a young woman in her 20’s who needs a new roommate to help make her rent payment. She rejects all the possible candidates she interviews, and has only one remaining possibility- a 68 year-old man.
This performance is sponsored by Kensington Community Church, and donations will benefit Dreams For Change, a San Diego nonprofit that serves homeless and low-income people.
Dreams For Change offers innovative programs that empower and stabilize the lives of underserved families and individuals.
A $15 cash donation will be requested, and reservations can be made via email. Both performances are expected to quickly sell out.
