Holy Name in Portland is back! Plus new play reading in San Diego
Holy Name's Portland premiere
Two years ago, Holy Name was set to experience its Portland, Oregon premiere with Salt and Sage productions. COVID had other plans, and the production was postponed. I'm thrilled to announce that the production has been officially rescheduled and tickets are available now!
I'm so happy to have an opportunity to work again with Salt and Sage, and director Asae Dean who previously produced Meet Me in the Dark. I hope to see you there!
Holy Name in Portland
Produced by Salt and Sage at the Backdoor Theatre.
Set in Buffalo, NY in the 1960s Mindy is sure her sons, husband, and sister are conspiring against her. As her youngest's confirmation approaches, the chaos at home escalates. Holy Name asks how one can find peace when they have never known it at home. Be advised this play offers stark depictions of mental illness and domestic abuse.
Directed by Asae Dean
When: October 21, 2022 - November 5, 2022
Where: Backdoor Theatre 4319 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97215
